
As the Lead Coordinator for the Formerly Incarcerated Persons Network (FIPN) Ghana, Gideon Owoo champions the reintegration of formerly incarcerated individuals through skills training, mentorship, and employment support. He is also the Leader of the Global Freedom Scholars Network Ghana Chapter, championing higher education access for people in prison.
Gideon holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Cape Coast, much of which he earned while incarcerated, and volunteers with the POS Foundation, a Ghanaian NGO dedicated to promoting access to justice, prison decongestion, and women’s empowerment.
