Eduardo Navarrete 🇸🇻

Eduardo Enrique Navarrete is a social worker who serves as a psychosocial specialist at ConTextos, where he leads training and support processes with returned migrants, at-risk communities, and people in social reintegration processes, including those who have experienced incarceration. His connection with ConTextos began while he was deprived of liberty in a juvenile detention center, where he discovered writing as a tool to reframe his story and build a new life project. Since then, he has contributed to strengthening networks of teachers and young leaders, fostering leadership and personal transformation.

Eduardo has published two illustrated memoirs — Terca desobediencia (Stubborn Disobedience) and Extrañando los abrazos (Missing the Hugs) — in which he shares his process of change and learning. He has represented Incarceration Nations Network at a major academic conference in Mexico, participating in international dialogues on migration, education, and criminology. He continues to contribute to social reintegration efforts in El Salvador, guiding processes of support and the creation of second chances.
